Services

The Three Rivers Chapter of the American Red Cross offers many services both to the community and around the world.

Disaster Services

Disaster can strike at any time, and when it does, the Red Cross Disaster Services Volunteers are ready to respond.

The American Red Cross is part of the world’s largest humanitarian movement – a network of more than

185 Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and approximately 97 million members and volunteers. The Red Cross

works with partner organizations and an extensive network to rapidly and efficiently scale up activities to achieve the

greatest impact. Disaster Relief is guided by the seven fundamental principles of the International Red Cross and

Red Crescent Movement: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality.

County Specific Disaster Information

As part of our disaster services we provide up to the minute information to the residents in our counties.

Information includes the disaster volunteers that can be contacted, when the disaster department meetings

are scheduled, and whether there are incidents in your area we are repsonding to.

Services To The Armed Forces

Both active duty and community-based military personnel can count on the Red Cross for emergency

communications, counseling, emergency financial assistance, veterans' assistance and aid in the field where

Red Cross workers serve America's military. We also offer Emergency Communication Services,

Emergency Financial Assistance, Counseling, and Services for Veterans.
